Last article for the Independent

The youngest protesters of Tahrir Square are getting ready for the next challenge: free elections. Giuseppe Acconcia meets them on the streets of Cairo

THEY OCCUPIED streets and squares in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez. They were arrested and tortured. They shared innovative methods of revolt against a common target, Hosni Mubarak, the former president who ordered his troops to shoot on demonstrators. But now Egypt's young revolutionaries have to face politics. Divisions among them have begun to emerge: they are socialists, liberals, bloggers and the Muslim Brothers.
